Castro Lanhoso

Castro de Lanhoso was discovered in the late thirties of the 20th century on the slope of Monte do Pilar, in a place known as Lage Grande, during the construction of a road to the Sanctuary and Castle of Lanhoso.

It is a fortified city, with houses mostly of circular plan, typical of Castrense culture, which according to the studies comes from the Iron Age, despite the existence of some evidence to suggest that it may have been occupied since the prehistoric times.

It is classified as a building of public interest.

Casa de São Vicente de Cima is inserted in the Quinta de São Vicente. It is a typical Minho house, with private pool, situated in the Geraz do Minho valley, in the district of Póvoa de Lanhoso, Braga district, ideally located to visit the Peneda Gerês National Park, Braga, Guimarães and many other places of interest.
